If you trust rooting your nav to someone in China, then why wouldn’t you ask the developer?
What happens when you have an issue or it bricks the headunit? You plan to ask Honda to reload the whole operating system to your nav? You’d be better off selling your oem nav and just buying a China nav unit with whatever feature you’re trying to get.
