Interior LEDs

i bought 3x 1w DE3175 blue led bulbs for my EX map(2) and rear(1) interior lights $6 total cost. the lenses just snap out with a flat plastic interior tool. and walla here what it looks like...

ahhh nice. I remember when we had the blue in our 07 fbp fa5. It was great until we found it was so difficult to read anything with that light. we then switched to the white leds

hhahaha i was actually thinking that too... lol but the main thing is alot of people wonder what bulbs the map lights take.. and i actually never take a flat head screwdriver to any plastic anymore.. always use my el cheapo nylon interior tool.. the lenses just popped right off no problem...

Red is even worse...especially if you write on your CDs with a red sharpie LOL

White is definitely the best for interior LED upgrade. Thanks for sharing the pics =)

I got white ones from Superbrightleds and they are super bright.

Our Civic LED dome light kits come with LED panels that contain 9 LED diodes. Panels will get you much better light output and light spread as LEDs are very directional in nature.

actually steve what u say is true.. i really feel they should use lumens as a measurement for LEDs, not watts.... because i have seen 1watt LEDs perform brighter than 3 watt LEDs..

yup... LED technology is still in it's infancy and it constantly changing. Lumens/watts ratio is what you should be looking at. It's kind of like HP/weight =)
