have a question for the Honda guru's on here. I have a 2015 Honda civic 4 cylinder with 119k miles on it and the check emission light keeps coming on. I have replaced the gas cap, air intake hose, new air filter and the purge solenoid.

the battery and alternator are good and i have had no issues.

You have to scan for codes instead of throwing parts at it.

i hooked up my meter and the following codes are reading. P0455, P0497 and P145c

I Assume you cleared the codes after replacing the parts?

yes i did and the check emission light still comes on after a days drive

You'll need to diagnose the codes properly then. That will require to pressurize or smoke test the evap system to see if it's got a leak.

take it to a mechanic that has the tools.

out of curiosity, do you have any mods or an aftermarket tune etc on the car? Is it stock?
