OEM Mud Guard Install Question

Hey friends! Quick question. I picked up a set of the OEM mud guards and the first page of instructions says "Not for Do It Yourselfers" specifically. I am just trying to hear from someone who has performed the install themselves to see if that's more of a cautions manufacturer recommendation, or actually a legit warning. The instructions don't seem all that difficult for someone who is careful, but you never know. Thanks for the help!
 
definitely something you can do yourself. Quite a few users have installed mud guards themselves.
 
I think all of the Honda parts have that initial warning. Everything I've installed from Honda says that from what I remember. The mud guards are simple enough to do. Good luck!
