Hey can anyone PLEASE tell me why you cant feel or hear vtec engage on the 9th?? Has anyone confirmed that the 9th is truely running only on the intake cam? Please elaborate if anyone has knowledge on this.. if so, would a k20 head help bring true dual cam vtec? And more compression maybe?

look at a dyno sheet for the 9th -
and compare it to an 8th below
it's not that hard to see where vtec is kicking in on the 8th gen. The torque graph around 5k speaks for itself. Torque on the 9th is way flatter. You're 20+ tq pretty much to 5k compared to the 8th. The hp curve is much flatter as well, where the 8th one is like a 60 degree angle going up the whole way.
