Hello everyone. I just bought a 2015 civic SI for my wife. It does not have Sirius installed. I tired searching and could not find anything.
I have a onyx unit which I tried installing but I’m running into problems and I wanted to see if anyone can help me out or give me suggestions. Since the civic does not have an aux port, I purchased an fm direct unit from best buy. This unit plugs into the Sirius onyx via the aux port. Then you take the antenna out of the head unit and plug it into the fm direct, then plug the antenna cable from the fm direct and plug it back into the head unit. I took the radio out of the dash to find out that it does not have an antenna port in the back of the head unit.
What options do I have to installing this onyx unit? I looked up all the parts to install a factory Sirius unit but it’s too expensive. will a Some sort of Bluetooth unit work in this case? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
