Warranty Question

Is there anyway that a short shifter with or without bushings would void the transmission warranty? Obviously, I am not trying to fall into that kind of scenario. My FB6 is about a month old and I am looking at Buddy Club SS in particular. Look forward to hearing from everyone

If you break a shifter related part that can be traced to that mechanism in any fashion then, yes, your warranty will be voided.

I think this falls under the gray area on how douche a dealership wants to be. They can say, the wear comes from the way you shift or while changing out the shifter, you did something wrong. Or they can say, no problem and dont consider/see you have a short shifter.

Maybe the safest, easiest thing to do is just get a countersunk knob

i have a countersunk knob and its a bit better, but im still thinking about adding a short shifter kit
