Right now we pay the cloud storage thing on he camera and not the door bell cam. I don't think we will upgrade.....might do the memory card on the camera and switch the cloud storage to the door bell cam so I can get longer videos on the door bell cam and keep the longer vids on the camera with the memory card. I'm pretty sure once the card if full it start overwriting the old vids with the new vids but can't remember. Just splurge on a large mb card.

I heard this new Cam Pan V3 is supposed to be really good and people are using them outside.

Could be cool for my new place. Going to mount it at the front most point which is the garage and could have the cam pan and follow someone coming down the driveway and follow them up the walking path to the front door.

Might need to have the builder add a plug in the attic near the cam so I can plug it it. ;)

The Wyze app and Wyze websites will be down for scheduled maintenance on February 8th at 12:00 AM PT. The process is expected to be completed by 2:00 AM PT.

Wyze Cams:
  • Event Videos will not be uploaded to the cloud during this time.
  • Notifications from during that time will not be sent.
Wyze Services:
Cam Plus:
  • Event Videos will not be uploaded to the cloud.
  • AI tags will not be generated.
  • Notifications from that time will not be sent.
 
Switched from Wyze to Tapo (TP-Link).

IB4 Webby finds an article about TP-Link Tapo cameras lol
 
I started swapping out Blink cameras for UniFi G5
 
Still have my 2 wyze cams and the wyze doorbell cam that we aren't using in the new house.

I think I'm going to add memory cards to the 2 cams and remove the one yearly subscription we have.

Remove it now since you don't get a prorated credit. You still have to finish the year out payment wise so might as well use the camera.

Think mine expires in February so they won't give me back $$ for Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb..

No problem. I read it on the Wyze Sub-Reddit. People bitching about it.

"No Refunds: If you cancel, Wyze will not refund any fees for the subscription period that has already been charged."
 
the federal trade commission is suing or sued adobe over their cancellation policy/fees/non pro rating. I have no clue if that will end up happening with wyze, but if enough complain it may be looked at
