I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy a9+ to replace and test out converting my family to Android in hopes of eventually cancelling all my streaming services.

But why? Converting to Android... Yuck.

At least that's what @webby tells me :rotfl: :hiding: :giggle:

Because the app I'm using for streaming doesn't work with iOS. So to save about $1000 I'm going to spend $900 on 3 devices. Lol. The 8th gen iPads are worth almost nothing now too.

So are you casting it to a smart TV or just running the Stremio app on the Android tables and the kids/wife watch the shows on there?

Did you see my message about connecting to a pc that’s running stremio? That works for iOS supposedly
I did not. I'll look for that.

No. I have the app on the tv as well. Works like any streaming app. Wife watches shows on her iPad a lot while doing stuff around the house. Kids will watch stuff on theirs during designated iPad time.

the a9+ i ordered off amazon was refurbished and said 1 left. after 3 days of waiting for confirmation of shipping it got cancled due to no stock. lol. but hey, at least the case arrived today. thanks amazon. so i had to suck it up and buy a new one and spend $40 more.

Spent 20 minutes with the a9+. So much better than the 8th gen iPad. Got stremio working quick. Son said he wanted one because of the 128gb of storage and 1 tb of additional storage.

Turns out the a9 doesn't like playing 4k off stremio. Kind of sucks but 1080p isn't bad. Only issue is I have to filter out the 4k links so I can't use 4k on my tv.

What's 4K? :giggle:

Rockin' 43" Samsung Plasma 720p! And a 32" Dynex LCD 1080p TV.
