Smart people don't buy boats... they have friends that own boats! :smart:
Also even though I grew up by/on the water... I never had the desire to get a boat. Never really grew up fishing either even though I could walk .1 of a mile and fish lol
i had a boat for about a month. its the perfect amount of time to own a boat because you dont have to fix it and then its gone.

a month? Why so short? I guess boating season is shorter up there?
People down here are on boats from beginning of May until end of September. Of course depending on the weather.

No, its long in ontario. longer in bc.
i realized i didnt want a boat after a month of owning one.

Booked flights last night for our August California trip. We wanted to book the flight before today since Southwest is now charging for bags starting 5/28. So it saved us $35/person for bags lol

Fly into San Jose and drive to Monterey/Carmel by the Sea. Stay down there for a few days then go to San Francisco for 2 baseball games (Go Orioles... They are 3rd worst record in the MLB right now lol) and go touristy stuff there.

Went with a rental vehicle through Costco Travel (Enterprise).

I'm curious why it's so much more expensive (almost $800) to pick up a vehicle at X location and return it to Y location. It's not like it's some fancy vehicle that they can't re-use...

Ohhhh, cool! I hope you have a good time; I wanna go see the California Redwoods before I die, I think those are the most amazing and beautiful trees on earth.

You are changing the inventory that the pick up store has. So at some point they might need to transport a car to their location to replenish inventory.
