Picked up two free monitors on the weekend. Only one worked but it was the bigger of the two. My new work setup. Need to organize a bit better. Was using a small second monitor and my 39 year old eyes couldn't see anything on it.

I went to a Best Buy today to check if they had a Bluetooth Adapter for a mixer board.

I hadn't been in a Best Buy store in like ...probably 4 years, and WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED? There's nothing in the store except weird dealer-spaces where an associate tries to sell you overpriced kitchen appliances that can massage your booty cheeks from space with an iOS app. Like, there are no movies, no games, and really no audio equipment variety at all. I had a better shopping experience at Barnes & Noble for movies and music, hilariously.

And no, they didn't have what I wanted.

bestbuy has been that way for quite a long time.

"Best Buy stopped selling CDs in their physical stores on July 1, 2018. The move was attributed to declining CD sales and the growing popularity of digital music streaming services."
"Best Buy phased out the sale of DVDs and Blu-ray discs in early 2024. The company announced in late 2023 that it would be discontinuing physical media sales in early 2024, with the final sale occurring in January 2024. "

More like WORSTBUY amirite?

...wait come back

they gotta stay relevant in the changing times. i would never buy a dvd or cd again. next up is implants.

This gives me an idea!

I should open a store called Luddite Liquidators and sell only legacy-format bullcrap. Stuff like Acoustic-Couplers and SCSI Drives! I'll coat the entire interior of my store in tinfoil to keep the mind control waves out so that my shoppers stay clear headed.

@Honda-Fan - Just had a Lenovo Tech (3rd party vendor for them) come on-site to replace the mainboard/motherboard on an M75q Tiny PC that I thought was the issue (it wasn't) but he said he works on Lenovo & Dell's. I thought of you when he said Dell's. :giggle:
