Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Yeah. Got in around 1:00p instead of 9:00a. Made life a little easier with the hotel. Now lost in the maze of streets and canals of Venice.

The lady takes all the pictures otherwise I’d share. Aww damn. That means I should take a couple…

She can't access 9thcivic.com on her phone? :giggle:

:hottea: w/ a bagel and strawberry yogurt.

Thanks, Booty. I feel a little better this week.

:bighug: Glad you are feeling a little better this week. I'd still recommend a therapy session or maybe a few. Check with your insurance as they might offer a certain amount for free.

I believe when my wife started going it was 10 free sessions then $25 (or $20) after that per session. Still worth it IMO.

I took a couple of postcard views and a view in our boat taxi along the Grand Canal.

That's a fancy *** water taxi! Sooooooooooooooo did they build Venice on the water or Venice was built then it flooded???

I think we might be taking advantage of that cheap airfare to Milan in October....that I think I mentioned before. Prob a Wed-Mon trip for $700 airfare.

lol. Venice is an island. I believe it’s always been an island and the infrastructure suggests it was built on the water. The water height may have shifted, but it’s not flooded. It’ll flood if the water level rises for whatever reason.

I guess I should of clarified a bit more but I take it that is has always been under water, by however many feet.

I might get to find out in out mini trip if we end up going. Looks like we will land in Milan and explore the area Thurs, Lake Como on Friday, St Moritz(Switzerland) scenic train ride and city exploration on Saturday, Head to Venice Sunday and explore for the day, Fly home on Monday from Venice.

That special rate won't work since the dates didn't work out but we get a 15% discount with Delta now that the wife got their CC and we will get 125k miles after this trip. Using hotel points for free lodging also. Plus she will get the "delta club" thing for free now rather than using miles like she has been for years. Every bit helps! :giggle:

Her "status" with Delta is really high up there and is always getting upgraded on most of her flights. Which that would carry over to me also if she were to get upgraded on the Italy trip.

Just waiting for my boss to approve my days off that I requested yesterday to book everything.

It’s worth it for a day for sure. Easily get lost in the labyrinth of streets, cruise the canal, whatever. We took a train today to Florence and are now over there. Looking forward to some of the sights tomorrow.

Try to find some of the great Italian sandwich shops. You can google or Instagram for the info. One of the things regret not doing but we weren't there for long and was not "my trip" to hijack plans, lol.
