2012 Honda Civic with difficulty starting

2012 Honda Civic is having difficulty starting. Cranking, but taking a long time to start. Crank sometimes sounds like it is straining/slipping?
No problems while driving, only when starting. No DTC codes. Replaced battery and problem unchanged. Not cold here/no change in weather.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Sounds super weird at the beginning but normal after a couple cranks.

If it eventually starts I'd suspect the fuel pump as i think it has an internal regulator that could be allowing fuel to drain and lose pressure after it sits.

Might be two issues with that weird starting at the beginning though.

I'm assuming it eventually starts if you crank long enough?
