Oh true, crutchfield is awesome. I found out about them after I bought my speakers, so pissed I didn't buy from them to begin with. You should be able to run it from the factory on wire with no problem!

I would recommend buying these that way you don't have to cut into the factory wiring, I used them when I installed my speakers and they are a huge life saver since me and anything electrical tend to not get along lol

You won't necessarily damage them, they'll just be underpowered and won't sound nearly as good as they should. If you have an LX or EX without the premium audio, your Headunit is only rated for 160 watts or about 40 per channel. Which is almost half the power needed to reach their RMS. So forget...
I actually ended up ordering another one, completely forgot to post it here tho. Here's what the dash looks like now [emoji7]

That's exactly what I want to do, I currently use Torque. But I'd really like to have something permanent. Will definitely look into them, thanks for the suggestion!

Just looked up your bulb type, you do in fact have 9006's. Make sure that you push slightly and twist clock wise when installing them. Match the three flaps with their matching holes on the assembly, push in and twist clockwise. If you just twist and not push, the bulb wont seat right.
In that case, Id recommend removing the assembly and re-seating the bulbs. It'll involve removing the bumper but it's the best option

I believe you have 9006's as your low beams. Make sure they are seated correctly. Usually that's the most common problem

Keep in mind, although the new unit supports HDMI, youll have to get the harness for it. Its actually kinda cheap, you can find it here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1312.R2.TR10.TRC2.A0.H0.X2014.TRS2&_nkw=2014+Honda+civic+hdmi&_sacat=0
Could you send a picture of your current dash? From what I understand, the '13 and '14 have a completely different dash. I also believe your model is the older HondaLink system which has a different harness compared to the '14.
Top is your system:
This is the 2014 HondaLink:
