Waiting for a reply as well! I am about to do the same in my car. Going from a LX radio to an EX non premium Audio touch screen. After comparing the pin outs for both systems, it looks mostly plug and play. Once i get my unit in and actually do the install, ill post a write up with pictures for...
Gonna be attempting this swap soon since the module is question is included with the head unit I'm purchasing. This is going in my '14 LX Coupe, hopefully it won't require too much retrofitting. Anything too major and I'll probably just stick with the AC controls I have now and sell the digital...
Yea I'll have a few, I'm very interested in this swap. I have an LX without the premium audio, and without the touch screen. So I'm assuming that for the most part, this swap would be plug and play-ish. Since mine does not have an external amp, I wouldn't have to swap the boards, correct?

This is a lot for me to take in here, so sorry if i misinterpret something. I just have a couple questions, First, which radio did you come from? My assumption was the non touch premium audio head unit. If that is the case, how and what exactly did you have to do to the mother board on the old...
So based off the previous replies, am I safe to assume that all non premium audio 9th gens (such as my LX) would have this problem if the HondaLink head unit was swapped in?

Not that I can notice! The only issue I had was that the bulb was too long to fit inside the top mount housing. What I ended up doing was just sanding down some excess plastic on the top of the bulb to get it to fit. Last time I spoke with the admin behind the Instagram page, he mentioned that...
Normally that's the case, I thought the same too. But for some reason, no 7443 LED's I buy for the 7440 sockets used for the turn signals and top mount brake light. It's very odd, especially because I usually only buy silvania or Phillips bulbs

Here is what I was dealing with before (https://photos.app.goo.gl/rLrfrrxrjNixKMBH3) but a nice spray down with some brake parts cleaner, got everything working just fine. I went ahead and did the other side while I was there.

Go on Amazon and search for blinking brake light 7440 size. I bought mine from the account on insta. It's a 7443 but still kinda fits.

Thank you All for the replies! I took off the drum today and noticed that the wheel cylinder was still acting on the parking brake lever as if it were still up. Cleaned everything off with brake cleaner, lubed up the wheel cylinder and it spins perfect now.

The other day, I starting hearing a slight rubbing, almost grinding noise, coming from the passenger side rear wheel. I only heard this noise while I was braking and only from that one side. I was able to get it off the ground and noticed that the wheel in question no longer spins freely, it...
The fact that people don't understand that scene, and why the director chose to make it silent, is rather worrying

Agreed, same goes for the scene when Holdo goes to Lightspeed, ramming into the empire ships was absolutely amazing, definitely did not expect that from a starwars film.

Thanks for all the replies! Never quite knew the average temp, and since the 9th gens don't have a temp gauge, I was always curious.
