I'd suggest trying the poly rear hanger I linked to previously in this thread. The oval one. It is much stiffer than the stock hanger and while I haven't put mine on yet, It cannot do anything but help. Famous last words! ;-) What I found is that you just have to mess with the alignment a...
Very quick rundown of my setup:
Vittuned 2.95 pulley
Vittuned aftercooler
3.5" PRL CAI
ZDX TB
Vittuned TB adapter
1000cc injectors
colder spark plugs
dw65c fuel pump (I think that's the one we used) <-- Don't mess around here if you go stage2, my understanding is the stock pump will work, but...
I haven't calculated it, but on the highway the imid says 28ish and around town it varies from 15 to 20, but I have a very short commute and drive like an ***.
I'm running an after cooled Cte with a 2.95 pulley as a daily driver. The only annoying thing, which doesn't bug me, is that my intake and catless exhaust make a lot of noise.
If you stuck with stock downpipe you'd leave power on the table, but it would be way more quiet and less stinky...
If you can't find anything for sale here, you may also try the 8th sites. Some of the parts can interchange depending on what route you go. I'm not an expert though, so definitely do your homework.
I like my Cte setup quite a lot so far. Great power, very tame on the street, quick throttle...
Do some research, brand and type should matter to you. There are a lot of choices and some quite different than others. Some setups are garbage, some are great, some make huge power, some make modest gains, some are streetable, some aren't...
Point us in a direction with your goals and total...
Get the rear motor mount done first. I have no rattles most of the time with mine with the stock hanger (was really bad for a while when the rear exhaust hanger came loose though!)...
It may be a while before I put the poly mount on just because it's wet out and with the factory hanger...
Got the new hanger a couple days ago. Held it up to the other poly hanger and it looks like it should be a perfect fit as the holes are spaced farther apart. I haven't had a chance to crawl under again (it's been raining here and I don't feel like getting soaked), but I'm 99% sure it'll fit...
The rear mount is super easy. You'll easily spend more time jacking the car up than installing the mount. I have the Hasport 62a and find it is acceptable for daily driving. Most of the noticeable added vibration is at idle and while starting from a stop. After a while you hardly notice it...
Ahah, maybe this one???

Man, I don't know, maybe the hanger posts are just a bit farther apart on mine or they sent the wrong hanger because it was just not wide enough and no amount of prying did any good. The original Honda rubber hanger lines right up and goes on without trouble. I'll see how the poly hanger goes...
So I decided that I'd also pick up one of these stiffer hangers... How the hell did you get it on the exhaust hangers? Maybe I just need to take the muffler off and put it on in the garage, but it's too narrow to fit on mine by about a 1/4" and no amount of forcing it with a screwdriver or...
That's a great idea! I'd just need to figure out a way to hold the pipe. Maybe a large rubber pad I could wrap webbing around or something? To get an even pull I could use two comealongs, one on each side of the pipe... Hmmm...
I'm also starting to wonder if some of the coilovers may have...
Don't get me wrong, the exhaust is high-quality, it's just difficult in my experience to get it installed such that there are no rattles under *any* conditions. I've managed to get it rattle free until it gets very hot, then it rattles until it cools down some. 3" exhaust does not give much...
I wouldn't consider that a lot... How long were you driving and under what type of conditions? Also, other noise can fool the knock sensor sometimes...
Pads were something like 350 for front and rear. I'm very pleased with them so far. They do dust a ton and the car does sound like a dump truck, but I knew these things going in. I'm completely happy with them for dual track/street use so far and would end up buying the same pads even if/when...
