Also, I believe the new Tacoma has gone to the regular spin off oil filter.

I’m sure I researched this when I first got the truck but was just reminded of it since I will be doing an oil change in the next few weeks. The “kit” I’ve see are just all overkill. I can just buy the filter housing wrench for $35 for a nice one. Do you all use a magnetic oil drain plug?

Just found out the Tacoma doesn’t have a normal spin on oil filter. So I have to buy some tool kit ($70ish for a nice one, one time fee) to be able to perform the oil change. Dealer oil change is $100 unless you can get a coupon.

@Honda-Fan might want to also get some semolina flour. Spread some on the pizza stone and the peel so the dough doesn’t stick as much.
