    Need help deciding on tires

I ended up ordering Firestone firehawk wide oval Indy 500s. they were on closeout at $100. I know they aren't quite as good as some others like the pilot ss but they are still better than the stock all seasons I have now.

    Engine won't start

Just think about this, the early 2000s ford escapes/mazda tributes had motor driven door locks and if the battery died while they were locked you couldn't use your key to unlock them and needed to basically "break in" to open the hood to charge the battery.

    Engine won't start

I would also check the terminal connections to make sure they are tight. Sometimes a loose connection will let enough power through to work the lights but not start the engine.

    Engine won't start

Is it rolling over or does it just click when you try to start it? if it rolling over its not the battery. If it's clicking when you try to start it, I would either try charging it or jump it and take it to a parts store, most of the bigger chains have free battery testing and would replace it...

Poll: What type of phone do you have?

well apparently i spoke too soon. The other day I was playing around on my phone and it just rebooted itself. It worked fine for about 15 minutes and then it went into a boot loop. I went to the Sprint store and they told me its a known problem with the early G4s and that they would replace it...

    Gn'R reunion tour anyone?

I just bought tickets for the Guns n' Roses tour this summer in Pittsburgh and was wondering if anyone else on here was planning on going to a city near them. The last time they came to Pittsburgh was in 92 and i too young to go (12 years old) but i knew a lot of their songs. When I heard they...

Show off your Zippo (or other lighters)

I've got some zippos. The Jack Daniels is my every day use lighter. I won it on my 21st birthday at the bar. The ICP one, I bought about 17 years ago (when I was into them) at one of their concerts. Social D (not a zippo but one of my favorites) my fiance bought for me when we first started...

    Help

all that does is holds the shift boot up and works like a lock nut to keep the stock knob in place. You can take it off, it won't hurt anything. If you leave it on though your new shift knob will sit higher.

Using DOT 4 Brake Fluid in a Honda

I saw that on the clutch reservoir that's why i didn't think it would be an issue but didn't think to look at the brake reservoir. I would only assume it would say the same.

Using DOT 4 Brake Fluid in a Honda

Ok so here is a good question. When i bled my clutch after doing the cdv delete, i used this It's synthetic dot 3/dot 4 brake fluid. Why wouldn't you be able to use dot 4 if this is both? I can understand not being able to use dot 3 in something that called for dot 4 because of higher boiling...

    Need help deciding on tires

My thoughts are, that here, in western Pa that it gets cold before the snow starts flying and it's still cold after the snow stops, and dedicated summer tires don't perform well in cold. I would need to run snow tires from September through April (9 months) 4 of which we actually get snow. The...

    Need help deciding on tires

Ok so I am going to buy some 16" wheels and snow tires, that's not going to be an issue, but it won't be for about 6 or 7 months. I'm still wondering if i should get a set of all season and a set of summer tires to swap out on my stock 18s or just a really good set of all season tires. I've been...

    Need help deciding on tires

I am hard on tires. I don't think I've had a set of all season tires last more than15-20k miles. I live in S.W. Pa and...
