How do i install my lowering springs myself?

I found this thread helpful with my install last weekend and thought I would contribute a few things I learned that were not mentioned. I installed the Eibach Pro-Kit on my 12 Civic Si Sedan. I followed the jdmcity link as it seemed the most thorough and had pictures. I started with the rear...

Eibach Pro Kit post alignment numbers?

I just dropped my Si on a pro-kit over the weekend. I took it out for a drive today and there were no new noises. I took my time with the install and applied lithium grease to all of the spring/rubber connections. I will take it in for an alignment in a few weeks after the springs settle in...

    Bass setup on factory system

No, I didn't use anything other than foam insulation behind my license plate. I don't have rattles coming from anywhere else.

    Bass setup on factory system

Looks clean. You did the install? Is your box mounted to keep it from rolling around the trunk? I just put done foam insulation strips behind my license plate an all the rattling was gone.

    Help with Sub install

Nope, just left it in. I've thought about removing it for more sound transfer, but I've honestly been fine with it as is and just haven't gotten around to it. May never wind up removing it...

    Help with Sub install

I tapped into the sub wires under the back panel in the trunk for my high level inputs on my amp. I still have control of the bass level through my HU, but just set it and left it. My amp has an external control I mounted in my dummy plate to easily adjust my bass level daily. If I didn't have...

Can i trade in my ...

I traded my 12 EX for a 12 Si about 6 months into payments and haven't looked back. My payment went up almost $50/month and insurance stayed the same. I really don't notice much difference in my gas bill, although it has gone up slightly. I never regret my decision and enjoy the SI wayyyyy more...

    Subwoofers with OEM Head Unit...Possible?

I've been happy with my setup since the sub broke in. I was very disappointed at first, but about a week later the sub was broke in and started pounding! The amp is great because the high inputs, small footprint, and it doesn't require a remote wire. I do have the bass level knob installed on my...

    Subwoofers with OEM Head Unit...Possible?

I would love a aftermarket head unit, but unfortunately, so do thieves. I base my decision of keeping a stock head unit solely on avoiding my system from being a target. It sucks this is the type of world world we live in, but it is.
