I figured you'd pick up on the beer. Sam Adams latitude 48 IPA No green center caps. I have HFP with black lugs so I plasti dipped the h on the cap black. I need to refinish my wheels... Paint is peeling bad and they look like crap. Might pdip them this weekend if I do the brakes.

I use something similar. Works well and I used it on my last car too. It slows it down but you need to reapply every other week it seems.

I feel you on building something from scratch. That's why I would start with something older and lighter. Then swap for a bigger engine and new tech.

I have to agree too. With modern cars it's just not as easy as it used to. You'd also need a new ECU and other electronics. Best bet would be to find a totaled donor can with body damage to harvest all the parts from. Why not build a turbo build instead?
