I've found that depending on the tire manufacturer, even that can be a slight stretch. I run 225/45R17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on 8" wide wheels on my other car and it's a tiny stretch. A 7.5" wide wheel would be perfect.

I got butt-raped up in Pleasant Prairie, WI today. US$3.47 for 93 octane E10. 39MPG made it hurt just a bit less.

To be perfectly honest, it's been so long since I've had a stock tune on there I don't even remember what it feels like, so I really couldn't give a subjective comparison. Likewise, I've never had the car on a dyno so I cannot provide an objective difference between stock and the Vit tune...
