In our last house, the water tank was in the corner of the garage. Kinda sucked but at least it wasn't in some closet near the middle of the house like I have seen in some places.

Ours is all installed outside. All venting is outside. I don't think code allows the tankless to be installed inside the house.

I saw a post somewhere that PRL is doing the CARB testing so that all/most their coming products for the new CTR and ITS will be "road legal" in all states. Time to empty the wallet.....

That's pretty good. I believe I pay $350 for a barely used one for the old CTR.
