Yeah a cross drilled and slotted rotor will most definitely not IMPROVE stopping power. Less surface area on the rotor will more than likely perform worse.
As far as heat dissipation though, it will probably be harder for the rotor to warp due to ridding itself of heat a bit better.
And they...
Cleaned the wheels today... and applied some of Adam's quick sealant.
Still mad they discontinued this product in aerosol form. Great for headlights... grills... and wheels. I've even used it on my windshield with great success.
Put in LED low beams... and applied a coat of carnuba wax.
Headlights at night are amazing. Light output is awesome. I went with the same brand and color I did on the fogs...
Good deal man. I Had mine done as well.... about 40 days ago. I called the body shop and they told me it would be good to wax after 30 days.... which I thought was a little early... but what the heck.
I applied a thin layer or meguires carnuba on it at like 32 days... and looks and feels...
After removing my resonator a couple weeks ago.. o disconnected my battery for 20 minutes or so... then after reconnecting battery... I let it idle for about 15minutes. Its idled... and ran perfect since. Avg mpg right now is about 26mph... 90% city driving
Worth a try I would say. Did you see a fuse in the ip fuse block for it? Surprising it would have that if the car didn't come stock with fogs

Decided for grins... to try to "restore" my OEM shift knob... as I replaced it with an aftermarket due to leather being worn and the face being worn and pitted. I wet sanded it.... and buffed it with mother's mag and aluminum polish. Turned out decent. Leather still sucks. Trying to figure out...
How did you I initially have it wired to the fuse block? The same way he did it in the video? You crimped the power wire into a terminal and then just plugged it into the fuse block?
I would also check all grounds. The ground in the video at the 7:40 mark had 2 other wires already grounded there. So make sure that ground connection is good. Make sure the connection in the fuse block for the power is good... and it's not touching anywhere it shouldn't be.
No. Not if it was a connector. I didn't watch the video. I'd check though to make sure the pins in the connectors all look good. Maybe apply some dielectric lubricant to them. But I'd assume the problem would be in the fuse block itself if you had to wire into it.
Absolutely. Any short cut in wiring could be an issue. I also would recommend soldering all of your wire connections... and then heat shrinking them. This will ensure the best connection possible.
