Hey guys. I'm looking to replace my 9005 DRL/high beams with some jdm yellow bulbs. Recommend any good brands besides piaa? I can't justify spending that much on bulbs.

If you guys know some, can you link me =] thanks!

Thanks webby. From your experience do you know if anyone has complained about the fitment? I saw some reviews on other sites claiming that it didn't fit like the OEM ones (apparently one of the tabs is not in the same place) but then again it didn't say if it was this specific one

I got a great set from @XenonDepot , AKA kbcarstuff. Actually 3 sets at this point. hahaha.

Nokya Yellow bulbs for $23.99. Yes it says $21.99 but its $2 for the yellow. I had a set in blue and my wifes car has gone through 2 sets of the yellows. One burned out after a year but the second set and the original "single" have been going for 3 years now. One extra replacement on hand. My first set of blue bulbs arrived broken from shipping and these guys were awesome about getting a new set out to me really quickly without any hassle. Just sent a pic of the broken glass and bam, new ones on the way. Really good customer service from these guys.

EDIT: Check your owners manual to be certain of the bulb size. There have been a lot of changes from 2012/13/14/15 and sedan/coupe. I believe the 9005/HB3 is correct.

EDIT2: I think I remember some of the fitment issues were solved by simply swapping the O-ring off of the stock bulbs onto the new ones. The aftermarket ones were slightly too large. Try that if the new ones just don't want to seat properly.

I have the nokya yellow for fogs and LOVE them. Honestly I've had them for about 1.5 months now and it has only been foggy 1 day. So I've had my fogs on that day and they look great! I fee like at this rate I might have them on for a few years since i haven't had much use since I o my out my fogs on when it's foggy.

I had the nokya bulbs in my HF and they were great. I will prob pick some up for the si soon. Can't decide if I want to do them for the DRL and/or the fogs.

just know that your DRL is the same bulb as the high beams. So if you put a yellow bulb in for drl, your highs will be yellow.

If one were to replace their halogen low beams with say PIAA halogen bulbs, would they have to aim or adjust their headlights? Or should it be fine. I guess same question goes for high beams since the OP is planning on changing his high beams

Actually when you aim the low beams the highs also adjust. However would you have to if you change your stock bulbs to something a bit more powerful like PIAA

Plug them in and you're good to go. No adjustments needed.
