18" HFP Tire Size

Don't know too much about tire sizes for rims, but i purchased myself 18" hfps and looking to get tires and i know they say 215/40R18 but would anyone know if 215/45R18 would work as well? Was given a good deal on them and just wanting to know if they'll fit.

It'll work, the sidewall will just be taller. There are online tools where you can plug in the values and it'll tell you how far off your speedometer will be.

"When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h), your actual speed will be 62.1mph (100km/h): 3.5% faster."

What about 225/40R18

That tire would be like .4 inches wider. It would also work.

"When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h), your actual speed will be 60.8mph (97.9km/h): 1.3% faster."
