2013 OEM LX Wheels

CollegeHillsHonda should respond on this. Not sure how it works if you don't have that same wheel, or maybe it doesn't matter?

Think of it like a car battery or whatever. A shop will tack on an extra $10-15 to the price of a new car battery. When you take in your old battery for recycling, they refund you that $10-15 core charge. If you don't recycle that old battery, you just paid 10-15 extra. Not sure how they handle car wheels though.

oh ok! but just for clarifications sake... I dont want to lose my old wheels....I plan on using those with my winter tires. I strictly want to order 4 more.

in a few more months there might be more EX owners getting other wheels and looking to sell theirs

Thats a good idea ethlar! I'm not in an big hurry at the moment. When it would come time for that tho... how would I go about looking for people selling their stock wheels?
thanks

The wheels aren't cheaper but the web site forces a core charge. If you call us there won't be one. FYI even if you placed an order online we would end up waiving the core charge when we complete the order.

not just honda... seems a ton of car forums have similar threads asking about cores on wheels.

Thanks again guys for all the info! CollegeHillsHonda, would I need to message you when it comes time for me to order them? Or how do I get the core charge waived? Or would it be just easier to order via phone.

They said they'd waive it if you do it by phone or net...so whatever you'd like.
