73mm Center Caps!!?

Soooooo.... this has proved harder than you may think! Just got my advan RS wheels in yesterday... i knew they didn't come with center caps (retailer told me) i thought i'd pick up come cheap plastic plain ones and put these red honda logo's i have in them...

Wellllllll! this is a lot harder than it may seem!!!

i also found some advan center caps that i like... but they're $300+! so screw that!

any suggestions? :(

they need to be 73mm Center caps :(

I went to search for 73mm center caps on eBay. Most of the products are Advan center caps. Lol. They really are expensive as hell, but a bit cheaper in the states ($219 shipped).

Yeah, of course. I wouldn't pay that much. Lol. It seems like Mercedes Benz has 73mm centercaps for a lower price. I'm not sure if they'll fit, but if they do, maybe you can powdercoat them to match the wheel color.
 
Or you can also try putting the wheels on w/o the center caps to see if you like them that way.

yeah those Mercedes ones on ebay are only stickers to go on top of regular ones hahahaha

and yeah may have to go capless :(

i like the finished look tho :(

Ouch, I didn't notice that they are only stickers. That sucks.

It seems like Advans tries to make you buy more of their products. Why are the center caps so big? Lol.
 
I mentioned those. Those are stickers for the 73mm center caps. :giggle:
 
Let me see if I get this correctly...........
There's a company out there by the name of "Advan" , And the OP bought some wheels from them and they won't complete the deal by way of giving him the completed wheel, which should be a Cap.......... And, not only did they not give him a wheel cap with his purchase of the wheels(cost of wheels unknown), they are "Offering" to sell him some "with their name on them" for around $50 each............. Now is this what they pay him to advertise for them, or do they want him to pay to advertise for them... If the caps had something cool on them........ but their name?

I remember when companies would give T-shirts away with their name on them......... now we have to buy them........SAD

"These centre caps are optional parts due to the fact that *most people* run the Racing wheels without caps *on the circuit*.(of course this number is less than 1%, since it would mean that in order to be a part of most people you'd have to not only run your car on a circuit but be using their wheels). *If you have purchased the wheels for road use*(which I'd guess is the larger number of ppl that buy their wheels) then these will complete the wheels visually and enhance the appearance further.(I'm going to leave this last part alone(not really), due to my opinion of having their name on what could be a nice clean cap without their name on it, as something I wouldn't want on there in the 1st place).
