Currently looking to buy a good set of coils, but living in the north east our winters can be pretty brutal and I don't want a set of coils that are still basically slammed even at max height. Anyone know of any coils that come close to stock height when you decide to bring it up for the winter? Thanks in advance everybody!

I ran all winter at almost a 2" drop in Upstate NY. No issues. Just get good snow tires. I only had trouble when there was more than 6" of unplowed snow on the roads.

Just want to shut my dad up man lol he keeps bugging me that I shouldn't be low in the winter. And honestly the roads around here are horrible, and last winter they decided to plow a day after it stopped snowing each time we got a storm lol. I cant really call out where I work. So I'd like to just go up to stock height and throw some good snow tires on when the winter comes around.

I hear ya. I have no idea how high coils can go or any that are near stock height. Hopefully someone else has an answer. Roads are horrible in the NE.

I can say that the roads around here in Louisville are not too bad at all. They do love their speedbumps though since they don't plow often.

Yeah I found a couple answers to it on different forums for other cars. Read on some g37 forum that some coils go even higher than stock height lmao. I'm picturing a cross tour looking civic haha. Hopefully somebody chimes in that can answer my question.

I'm in the same boat as you. Last winter really sucked! :( Not just for snow, but for the potholes around my area. That's why I'd never get anything bigger than 17" rims or lower the car a whole lot. I'd be just asking to rip my oil pan right off haha

I mean I don't mind the struggle in the summer lol but I def don't want another winter as low as I was with my sportlines.

You'll be fine with Sportlines. The front suspension is lowered by a bit over 1.5" with the Tanabe Springs and Koni shocks. :giggle:

I was able to rip through the snow covered roads and highways (RT21/RT3/Parkway) with snow tires on. It was fun.

I want to go lower though that's the thing lol I want to go lower this summer but then raise it back up in the winter. By the way what's up Dar? It's been a while man.

Nothing much man. Just at work. Lol. And yeah, it has.
