Hey guys, I'm trying to get a feel for how many people are still in school on this forum. Maybe to talk about what their major is or what they would like it to be. Post your school, major and classes you are taking. Also alumni's post what school and degree you have. I'll be the first to go. since I'm in the national guard and the Air Force before I switched to the army I don't have much school done. I'm 22 and I have 30 credits. I will be taking 14 this semester. My classes are Chemistry 101, Biology 101, music appreciation, and history. My associates degree will be in Biomedical Sciences then I will transfer from Cumberland County College to either Rutgers, Fairleigh Dickinson, or Rowan University. My bachelors degree will be in Sports Medicine. I'm also getting my personal training certification and strength conditioning certifications this semester as well. So that's me! Bring on the post!!! Happy Back to School!!! Also my semester starts the 22nd of this month.

That's awesome!! I played football, wrestled, and golfed varsity at my high school. I think it would be sweet to be their athletic trainer and a personal trainer at a local gym around here. My fiancé has 2 years left and she will have her BSN in nursing and I think we will both be very comfortable.

big part of why I changed to industrial, too many MEs in the job market and were all too generalized in our backgrounds

Been in college forever. Hope to finally be done this year or early next year. Can't wait for school to start I'm taking 12 cr, trying to get an over tally in organic chem since all 3 sections r full. Also doing a women's studies internship.

Applyling to Nuclear Medicine School.
Possibly back to school next fall or spring. Prob have to do some pre reqs cause mine are all old now.

I hear you man. It's funny how they say that the world needs more engineers and scientists, but companies are barely hiring them. Lol. What is Nuclear Medicine? I'm not familiar with that.

It all depends on the specialty, EEs ChemEs IE Comp and Nuclear are in high demand but the rest of us get lumped in when they say engineers are in demand

Ethan, you're one smart cookie! I don't envy you though.. I don't think I could endure a PhD program. Best of luck to you sir.

So school is going well guys! I bought a Ipad min with a bluetooth wireless keyboard/case and man this thing is awesome! I bought a app called Notability for $1.99 can you can type, draw, highlight, everything on limitless pages on this thing! So when my professor is giving lectures I type down notes and when he draws cells, etc on the board I pull out my stylus and draw his exact pictures. I also have a wireless printer so when I get home I print my notes(major notes are already highlighted from the highlighter function) and then I hole punch it and make a note book! This was I dont have to read my crappy hand writing and go through the book and highlight things that are going to be on our test. Anywho I have my first Music Appreciation class tonight from 6:30-9:52 its only one day a week that is why its so long lol. Well keep me updated on your school and schedules. Goodluck!!

If you have to write research papers, or read a lot of journal articles in PDF form, Mendeley is a pretty helpful program. It stores your references online, allows you to sync annotations and highlights between your computers and tablets. Best of all it can inset citations and bibliographies in word
