Hello there,

Does anyone know which parts do I need (or if it is even possible) to make my AT console tray look from this:

To this:

(I mean to replace the frame with a black piano/silver finish).

Thank you.

Hey Igor,

Welcome to the site.

So you want to replace the gear select cover, the piece with P R N D on it, from the plain black one to the glossy black with silver inset piece correct?

What year and trim level car do you have? I found that piece under the 2015 Civic parts. Looking at the Honda website it showed that interior as a 2015 Coupe I believe. Its tricky but if you swing the picture down to look at the shifter I think that is the part you mean.

I think it should be available from a Honda dealer. The upper photo looks like an LX trim level and I suspect the lower picture is the EX trim level. If you look on the collegehillshonda parts website and choose a 2015 Civic and the EX trim you will get to the parts page. Under " SELECT LEVER" section there are trim parts listed. The pictures are not up yet so I'm not 100% certain but.....

I think you want the part listed as "COVER, SELECT LEVER" that is listed as a graphite color

However: Further down there is a part listed as "ESCUTCHEON SET, SELECT LEVER" that says Gloss black.

It could be either one of those. Until the pictures are up it would be a guess at best.

perhaps @CollegeHillsHonda knows which trim piece is going to be that plastic surround in the glossy black with the silver insert.

hi, thanks for the prompt answer !

So you want to replace the gear select cover, the piece with P R N D on it, from the plain black one to the glossy black with silver inset piece correct?

exactly.

What year and trim level car do you have?

my car is a Civic LXR 2015 (Brazilian model). Here it is the actual cockpit:

the pictures I posted above came from this site:

I could't load the pictures from College Hills as well.... Let's see if they show up and clear things up.

Thanks a lot for your help.

No problem man. I think CHH don't have the pictures yet themselves. They usually reply pretty quickly so you might have an answer later today. Good luck! I hope you find your piece.

and here is a complete diagram.

I guess I need parts:

011 54716-TR6-A52ZA lid *nh587l*
Color: (GLOSS ONE BLACK)
Emission: KA - US Market Spec
Origin: USA 001 $5.48

012 54721-TR6-A53ZA escutcheon set, select lever *nh587l*
Color: (GLOSS ONE BLACK)
Emission: KA - US Market Spec
Origin: USA 001 $63.98

can someone please confirm that it's all I need ? is it easy to swap ?

I think that's the piece. I could not confirm though and I don't think I've seen anyone take that apart yet. Might be a bit of a chance you have to take. $70 isn't cheap though.

I cannot confirm. For starters I would need to know which vehicle you need the parts from first. We haven't taken any of these apart so I don't know if they are interchangeable between models.

I just got one too about two weeks ago... I'm learning all about this car... I was wondering about shift knobs too!

Ok I got it. My car comes with Shift Paddles that's why my stick is SDNRP while the USA version is 123DNRP.
