Remember that runaway balloon first thought to contain a boy that soared recklessly through the Colorado skies?
For $1 million, the silver "flying saucer" that made international headlines in October 2009 can be yours.
Its owner, Richard Heene, says all the cash will be donated to relief efforts in Japan.
According to the family's auction website, the funds will go to the trust account of a California attorney and a cheque will be written to a "selected charitable organization that is helping the Japanese cause."
The 'Balloon Boy' saga unfolded when authorities were led to believe Heene's six-year-old son, Falcon, was in the homemade helium-filled contraption that took flight from the family's backyard in Fort Collins, Colo.
For the hoax, Heene pleaded guilty to a felony and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and his wife, Mayumi Heene, was sentenced to 20 days behind bars.
"This is your chance to own a piece of documented media history while benefiting those in need," the website says.
