BBC has a new mini series that takes a fan (Star) and follows the career of a three racing legends.
The first series has Patrick Stewart as the fan following the life of Sir Stirling Moss and at the end they let Sir Patrick drive the 1957 Vanwall around Silverstone.
In the second series they chronicle the life of Sir Jackie Stewart with James Martin and let James Martin take out Sir Jackies 1973 Formula 1 car around Monza
Only the first two series are available, and from what i have been able to find online they are going to chronicle Collin McRae in the third and final series
Can't wait to see the third one, watched the first two and they were really good (could have done without Sir Patrick)
I am sorta surprised that they chose to do the third one on Collin McRae and not on Jim Clark or Graham Hill, but i am sure that it will be a great show and hopefully they continue on with it

I actually took a picture of JS & GH neck & neck coming out of GH corner at Brands Hatch back in the late 60's / early 70's .......... when we could get close to the edge of the track. 'corse that was with real 35mm film.

That would have been an awesome experience, so envious. One of my loves in this world is Formula 1, only 74 more days until first practice in Melbourne
