Ive seen a couple of threads here and there about car seat options/seat covers but haven't come up with a definitive conclusion on which is the best way to protect my car seat from normal wear and tear damage. My (rather unhelpful) friend told me to just replace them with Recaro but that is very costly. The threading on my old car eventually tore apart and I was left with a big ugly tear on my car seat, exposing the cushion underneath. So I ask of you fine folks in 9thcivic: how can I protect these seats the best and most cost-efficient way possible? Which seat cover would you recommend?

You don't really need seat covers. I own a 2007 Si and the seats are not damaged whatsoever. Just don't smoke and drop a cig on the seat. Lol.

150k on my 2007 and the interior still looks good , minus the burn hole in my driver seat from a idiot in a SUV who threw out there cigarette and it landed in my lap....

When it comes to things like this, you get what you pay for. If you dont mind looking tacky and not fully fitted, any from autozone for 60$ will work for a while. You can always just replace your upholster when the time comes from Honda Parts for 300$-400. Then you can always get custom ones from here for 220-330$ http://www.coverking.com/custom-car-seat-covers.html

Note: These quotes are for all seats.
