Chinese man chops cucumbers with toss of a card
Bai Deng Chun stays cool and impresses the judges on China's Got Talent as he slices dangling cucumbers with just a throw of playing card.
1:12PM BST 12 May 2011
The 23-year-old astonished the audience of the hit talent show with his card-throwing razor routine.
The first flurry from Bai's deck failed to connect with the hanging fruit, but he soon got into a rhythm and broke his own record, slicing through 12 cucumbers in under 100 seconds.
A kung fu and card game enthusiast, Bai has been practising his throwing card technique since he was six years old and can slice through cucumbers, watermelons and eggs.
Last year, China's Got Talent was won by Liu Wei, a 23 year-old pianist with no arms, who gave a rendition of James Blunt's song You're Beautiful, using his feet.
Mr Liu has since been signed up for a world tour, organised by the makers of the show.
