as i sit here in traffic in my Ford F-150 and look around i see many civics lots of 8th Gens and a fair amount of 9th Gens, but it is the sight of a 9th Gen coupe that makes me envious, especially the Si.
Then i make my way home and park in my driveway beside my 2012 Si HFP that i start to ponder my decision to park the civic for the winter, Knowing that i would be saving a boat load of fuel by driving the Civic but the thought of ripping off the front spoiler on a snow banks stops me from taking the car cover off.

Then i come inside and get on my computer and somehow get drawn to 9thcivic.com and find myself looking at all the new posts of people taking pictures of their Civics and it starts making me envious again, Damn you 9thcivic.com

But i know deep down inside that the months will start slipping away and before i know it it will be April again and once again i will be able to take the car cover off and drive my civic.

Come on April ..... :banana whip2:

You're not alone. The howling winds and drifting snow banks cast a discouraging prospect for other Si owners in the Northern regions of the world.

It's times like these that will make the inevitable sunny, warm day even more special.

I am on the other side of the fence... My Civic is sitting at the office and I am driving a company f-150 and I want my car especially after the snow yesterday

Unless you drive through snow more than 6 inches I think the Civic has no problem. I drive it daily with no issues, i live in a bigger city so street are most of the times plowed but some smaller streets not so much. I also see people with FRS or BRZ or 370z all over the place.

The civic is a great car but if something happens it can be fixed, storing makes sense in my opinion for very low ground clearance cars, or cars that you really do not want damaged like a Ferrari or some other expensive car that looses a ton of value if ever was in an accident.

thats why coilovers are really the way to go... or maybe it'll warm up for a few days and the snow will melt and you'll beable to take her for a sunday cruise then store her during the next dump of snow.... i live up by alaska and we never had more than 6 inches this year at a time, and theres almost no snow on the ground right now.. our highways are like gravel roads... so do you really wanna do that either?
