copper pipe magnet

I also now know what to get my little brother for his birthday :rotfl: Entertainment for hours until he tries to set it on fire

Basic electromagnetism. :coffee:

Cool stuff nonetheless.

Tomorrow's to do list now includes find a magnet and copper pipe!!!

I'm guessing those Neodymium magnets are somewhere in the 35 - 45 megagauss energy product range - very high. These are so strong that if they are allowed to contact a piece of steel, they are nearly impossible to pull off with your fingers. You can probably buy them online.

In comparison, a standard "refrigerator magnet" is only a few kilogauss.
