FORT WALTON BEACH — A 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested July 8 for allegedly trying to take goods from Walmart.
Allison Marie Adams, who was charged with felony larceny and crimes against merchants, and her boyfriend, Grover Louis Epsey, who was charged with felony probation violation and two misdemeanors, were caught hiding steaks in the woman’s purse while in the furniture section of the store.
According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s report, the couple allegedly stole seven rib-eye steaks.
When they were leaving, a loss prevention officer tried to stop them but they ran to their car and drove away. The items were valued at $105.67.
Adams is scheduled to appear in court August 16. Epsey is scheduled to appear in court July 26.
