Cracked Fog Lens Replacement

Usually when stuff is marked 09+... the person just marked the product that way in 2009. It could work, but I would contact them to see if they've tested it on a 9th gen.
 
The eighth gen will not fit directly. I tried it and its the exact same shape and size but the mounting bracket is different. You will be able to mount the fixture but not adjust the vertical alignment. There is also a shroud on the 8th gen around the bulb that you need to break out to get the same light pattern.

If your looking for a direct replacement you need to look for a 2012. I haven't looked at the 2013 so I can't say if they will work.

think he's just purely looking for the glass front to replace... or lexan.

If you have a dremel tool, I will say that you can do the job yourself for around 10 dollars. You can get small pieces of lexan at lowes/home depot in a 1ft by 1ft square. The last time I looked they were around $6-7 dollars. Trace a pattern of the fog on the lexan and cut it out on a dremel. Then use some sealant for around $3 to apply it to the housing. Wrap it all up with some tape to keep pressure on the lexan and in a few hrs it should be fully sealed. You won't have to worry about glass breaking again.
 
What brand sealant do people use for this? I tried the lens replacement and the stress of the bent plexi actually pulled the sealant off after a few days.

Yep I am just looking for the lexan lens piece, not the housing. I have seen that diy with the lexan and dremel tool but unfortunately i dont have a dremel myself. i emailed the guy at uniquemodz and he said the lens fits the 9th gens as well, so im just gonna order a set of those for 30 bucks and not have to worry about it again!

Dremels can be found cheap and are, in my opinion, a must have for anybody that does any sort of tinkering, mods, or repairs.
