Cylinder head temperature.

Hey all, I'm wondering what your cylinder head temperatures are at around the temp sensor. If you have a thermo gun I would appreciate the feedback after a normal drive or if you have a temp gauge in degrees I would be interested to know the readings. I'm more curious about the r18 engines though. Thanks!

I don't know or have such a devise...... But I'd say in most cases, to take a reading from a source where you have to stop the car and open the hood, etc., to take the reading, it's going to read way higher than what it would read while moving under a normal load.

Why would you say that the temperature would rise quite a bit more while stopped? I do realize air is flowing through the radiator while moving but what about the fans when they are turned on?
