Dremel 8220

very nice.... what plans do you have for it?

Well the led map lights I got are a hair to big so I'm going to trim the plastic down for it to fit in

Cool.....I currently do not know where my dremel is. Makes me sad, we've had lots of memories together. Before it was mine my dad used it for his work. True story.

If you have to use a Dremel to install map light LEDs, you're using the wrong LEDs.
That said, it's still a nice tool. I have the corded version.

^^ did you have some that were too big as well? Seems like I remember you saying something about that

I was referring to an order I placed that ended up being the wrong part to begin with.
The ones I eventually installed were from SuperBrightLEDs which I purchased from College Hills Honda.

I've never owned a Dremel. They've always seemed like something really handy to have, but I guess I've never needed one. Otherwise, I would have gotten one by now.

I did a bunch of the fog retros for the 8th friends back in the day with my dremel.

I remember having to open it up to "service" it and it had a bunch of sheetrock dust inside from when my dad used to use it, lol.

did he cut outlet box holes in sheetrock with it?

He cut everything with it. Outlet, pot lights, plumbing lines where the main uses for it.

I got a cheapie for $8 at harbor freight. Vibrated so bad to use, talk about numb hands! Ugh! totally worth the $70+ for the real thing if you use it more than once.

Oh...I aslo cut my fenders on the 8th for the FD2 sidemarkers.
