A friend of mine wants to help me out and loan me some Enkei wheels with track tires rather than me buying a set for this summer. They are off of his evo 8 and just was wondering if they will fit with that offset being so low. I have stock suspension and brakes so what do you guys think?

Yours will stick out a tiny bit further out. Just toss them on there and see what happens, lol.
 
yeah... like less than an 1/8th of an inch wider than the pics above
 
Turns out they are 35 offset and fit great. Once I get the hub-centric rings and tapered lugs I'll post some pics.
They are really nice looking and just in time for the track day this summer.
 
Here's the car with the wheels in rural Wisconsin! Not too sure what drop to put in this car since the wheels are right flush with the fenders with the camber they are at. Let me know what you guys think! :waiting: photo (1).JPGphoto 1.JPGphoto 2.JPG
 
Tire specs? Looks like a tall sidewall on those...or is it just my eyes
 
Well, they are 17". It could be your eyes. Lol.
 
Slightly taller. Why didn't you go 235/40/17? That would be closer to the stock sidewall height.
 
3.8" vs 4.2" sidewall height.

When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.7mph (99.3km/h): 2.8% faster.
