So this is my first car (2013 SI) with foglights and i always see a large amount of cars with busted foglights, presumably from the death roads of debris that New Jersey is swamped in. Is there any way to protect my lights in anyway from damage? I tried searching the forums but to no luck. Thank you in advance!

lexan - like a thick plexiglass. I had a fog busted myself. I took a hammer to my other one and busted it out on purpose to redo them in lexan. You essentially take the fogs out, and remove all the glass out of the fogs. Trace the fog on the lexan and cut it out with a dremmel tool. Apply some silicone around the edges of your fog, and press the lexan on it. Wrap some tape around the entire housing and the lexan to keep it secured for at least a few hrs. I think I did mine overnight. Release the tape and then install them. 4+yrs without a problem on the lexan.

one piece will do both fogs.
