Food on my dog: blog features pet balancing various foodstuffs on her head
A barking mad blog has become an internet sensation. Called Food on my Dog, it features Tiger, a Staffordshire Terrier and American Bulldog mix, balancing various edible items on her head. The website has racked up almost half a million hits and Tiger even has her own Facebook page.

Owner Andrew J. Small from Crystal River, Florida, says: "My dad at a very young age would balance snacks or biscuits on Tiger's head. She likes it because she knows she is getting a reward. I wouldn't do it without giving her a reward.
Cold spaghetti
"She doesn't get to eat food that's not good for dogs either. What she doesn't eat, I eat. No food goes to waste. In some pictures, such as ones like doughnuts and cakes, she will receive a treat instead."
Two prawns
Andrew is aware that some may perceive his blog as cruel, but explains: "Tiger enjoys doing it, mainly because she knows she gets a snack. If she were to get upset I would not do it."
A cold burger
Andrew is now getting requests on what Tiger should balance next.
On Valentine's Day this year, Andrew posted a photo of Tiger balancing a big heart-shaped box of chocolates on her head
Cherries and whipped cream
A packet of Cracker Jack snacks
A cold fried egg
A taco
Radishes
A packet of bacon
A banana
Candy floss
A cucumber
A potato
