Fuel efficiency gauge...

In by buddies '12 civic Ex it simply goes from green (good)-red (bad). My kids '13 Si just turned 1,600 miles and he let me drive it. I was quite conservative and even at 60 mph in cruise control it never changed from red lines. I still got 35 mpg, but shouldn't that gauge ever change?

There's a setting to adjust that.. It is something with "backlight efficiency"
at page 88 on Civic 2012 manual. The setting is : Trip computer Setup - Fuel Efficiency Backlight...

On the Si those are always red haha, part of the sporty look.

Yep. No option on the Si. It stays red.
