I should start off by stating I've got a 13 LX with the 5speed.
Recently, I've been driving the car a bit differently. I find that my shifts are much quicker and smoother if I simply push down the clutch pedal an inch or 2, shift, and release the clutch. I used to fully depress the clutch pedal to the floor on every shift, and it was always a little chuggy/jerky in lower gears.
The car seems to respond well to me barely depressing the pedal, and makes for a way smoother drive. But I can't help but feel that I may be damaging something by doing this.
Is this a safe way to operate the clutch?
I welcome any input
