Well what the title says, I am going to India next tuesday and was curious if any of you have ever been there? I am going with 6 other people from work to do a job over there. We had to go get out shots and pills and everything else we need. If anyone has any tips I would surly appreciate them.
 
I've never been there myself. Are you looking for any specific advice, or any specific town?

may be worth asking people on citydata? They have a lot more info about places in the US, but it may be helpful to browse. They have some questions pertaining to india there.
 
A lot of the people I work with are in India, but I don't know where exactly. The food is awesome though.
 
Make sure you fasten your seatbelts....I hear cabbies are crazy!
 
Yeah it should be a fun trip. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon and will be back on the 27th hopefully.
 
The pills and shots you got are probably the same the military gets for international travel. Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Rubella, Menigococcal?
 
We had Typhoid, tetanus, hep A and B and polio. The pills are for malaria, start taking them tomorrow and have to take them for 21 days which covers 7 days after we get back. I'm going to try and take a lot of pics.
 
Whats up everyone, I am in India now. This place makes you realize how nice we have it in America. So far the food has been great. Only had the crap scared out of me in a vehicle a few times. We also found out what we are working on is going to take a while longer than expected so I get to stay probably another week longer.

To be honest, I wouldn't have made it one day out there.
 
Yeah it was, but it wasn't too bad. The food was good and the people treated us great so turned out to be an awesome trip. I also made a ton of money on the trip so now my car is paid off.
 
were you just in one area of India, or is this all over? Interesting to see photos from there
