I have a 2012 Civic EX with the factory in dash navigation system. The perimeter when you would touch "Address" for the destination you want to find is not highlighted all the time. Then all of a sudden it's lit up for use. Any suggestions on a fix for this without going to the dealer. Thx

You do know that you can't input an address into the Nav when the vehicle is moving?

Mine does that too when I first turn the car on. I believe it's the GPS finding its location. The address is greyed out for a few seconds when I start the car and then it appears.

Yeah safety feature. Certain features won't work unless your at a stand still. Use the voice command button
