Hey every one,

So my springs and arms showed and im gonna do the install this weekend. Problem is that the box and spring PN do not match.

The box says 51890 which is the correct part for my car (2013 si sedan).

The springs have 21891 printed on them, which is the part number for a coupe.

H&R's site says this:
Why do the H&R part numbers on the spring box not match what is on the springs?

The part number on the box is the product part number. The part number on the springs is a component part number.

Can anyone clarify if this means that the springs I have are actually the correct springs??? This is super confusing, maybe they use the same actual spring but a different part number?
Anyhow, help! if you have a sedan SI and H&R springs, can you check the number on them?
Thanks!

If you would like to verify your product/component part numbers, please call H&R at (888) 827-8881. Please have the following information available: year, make, and model of the vehicle application, the product part number found on the box,.and the individual spring component part numbers
I'm guessing each spring has it's own part # code?.... and the whole kit has it's own part # for sales....from the bolded part.

That's what I'm hoping for, it's just odd that the spring would have the pn for a coupe printed on them.....

The more I search the net, the more I think the springs are actually the correct ones. It would seem H&R commonly has a different # ont he springs in the box which do not necessarily coincide with the kit part #.... I will verify tomorrow to be sure, but likely these are correct.

Update!

The springs I have (marked with the coupe pn) are, in fact, the correct springs for my 2013 sedan. I called H&R they said the part is correct and that the sedan and coupe have different sales part numbers, but use the same spring. Hope this clears anything up for others!

I can verify this. I called H&R twice in two weeks to get a different rep to verify this. The first time I explained the situation and they said its just the internal part number and its the right springs. Wary of them being un-knowledgeable of what I was talking about, I called back a second time at another time. The second time I called I asked them what the springs should say and they told me the right number.
