Hey, I'm new here and I figured it was finally time to post an intro. I'm Rick from Ontario, Canada. This is my first Honda and is honestly my first decent car. I just picked up my new 2012 Civic Si today and it seems pretty amazing! I want to drive it more aggressively but I'm guessing I should let it break in at first so I'm trying to take it easy, but the few times I had it in vtec was outstanding.
I should say I'm by no means a "car" guy. I actually surprised myself by getting this sort of car, but I wanted a drivers car for a change. Before this I had a VW Jetta City which I leased for 4 years. It was a fine vehicle, just nothing fun about it.
I don't really think I'm going to do any mods, however it does seem appealing. The most I would consider is swapping in HID headlights because I think it would pretty amazing.
Here is my stock black civic si coupe. I got dealing tinting cause I thought it would look awesome...which it does.
Not to be negative but I thought I would share my only disappointments.
1. Head room is limited and I'm somewhat tall (6'2). I think I'll make it work but it would be nice if the seat was a bit more adjustable.
2. The Nav system seems a little clunky/basic...then again most I've seen are. I pretty much just need google maps and some voice commands lol
3. It doesnt display song information from my iPhone
