Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Chicago and I just bought my first manual car which is the civic Si sedan in black. I bought it with only 4 miles on the odometer. I had a little experience with driving some of my friends' manuals and also lessons before i bought my Si. Needless to say, I'm a little rough with it so far, but i do try to baby it during the break-in period. One question, at what mileage should i take my Si in for her first oil change? Thanks guys!

Congrats on the new car & welcome to the forum. There have been a few threads on break-in period and oil changes. Might be worth a look if you are interested. I believe Honda recommends 5000miles for the first oil change. What color did you end up getting? Post some pics when you get a chance!

your imid will tell you when its time about 10-15% when its time .....and welcome BTW :wavey:

thanks everyone for the helpful posts. i'm from the west side of chicago. the only mods i would like to do so far are light tints and maybe a CAI- just so it sounds meaner lol. any recommendations?

hey guys. i'm close to oak park. i know where rosemont is. i'm down to meet up but not just yet, since my work schedule is really effed up at the moment. im either 11-7 one shift then 3-11 the next shift. definitely soon though for sure :D
